ECTS/Eli Lilly 2016 Health Care Provider Scholarships

Focused on providing financial assistance for clinicians from across the globe, this scholarship programme, generously funded by Eli Lilly, is designed to support the professional development of clinicians, through participation at ECTS 2016 Congress.

Successful recipients will receive a complimentary registration at the ECTS 2016 Congress and a travel grant of up to €400 for European Delegates and €900 for International Delegates.

Eligibility

In order to receive a scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Be a medical doctor currently practicing within one of the following countries:

Ireland

Canada

Israel

Slovakia

China

Italy

Slovenia

Colombia

Japan

Spain

Croatia

Malaysia

Switzerland

Czech Republic

MEA/Gulf

Taiwan

Mexico

Thailand

France

Pakistan

Turkey

Germany

Philippines

United Kingdom

Greece

Romania

 

Hong Kong

Russia

 

 

  • Be within 10 years of qualification or in training for further specialisation in bone disease

  • Be born in or after 1970

  • Be able to understand and follow scientific discussions in English

Review process

Applications will be reviewed by 12 February 2016 and recipients will be informed by 19 February 2016.

Cancellation and Payments

The Status of Scholarship will be cancelled to Recipients that failure to:

  • Provide by 4th April 2016 with a proof of travel/flight booking

  • Attend the ECTS 2016 Congress and the ECTS/Eli Lilly Scholarship Session (date and venue to be confirmed).

All Scholarship Grants will be paid after ECTS 2016 Congress.
